If you don’t know about this game yet Fuel is an upcoming open world racing game by Asobo Studio, due for release in 2009 on PC, PS3 and Xbox360. Fuel will feature varying weather effects such as tornadoes and sandstorms and a full day-night cycle. The gameworld is around 14,000 km² in size and completely free to roam. The game will have no loading times while racing from one point to another. The players get to choose from a variety of 2- and 4-wheeled vehicles. If you remember an awesome game from 2001 called 1nsane, Fuel will be something similar to that.

Aparently Codemasters has confirmed a May 2009 release date. source
