THQ and 4A Games have announced that their upcoming Survival-Horror FPS, Metro 2033, has officially gone gold and will begin shipping to stores across North America on March 16th and Europe on March 19th.

Dual core CPU (any Core 2 Duo or better will do)
DirectX 9, Shader Model 3 compliant graphics cards (GeForce 8800, GeForce GT220 and above)
1GB RAM
Recommended:
Any Quad Core or 3.0+ GHz Dual Core CPU
DirectX 10 compliant graphics card (GeForce GTX 260 and above)
2GB RAM
Metro 2033 is a game I wasn’t really expecting much from at first. Now, gradually with more info and videos it has started to look great. Survival horror FPS in a post-apocalyptic world – count me in!
In other Metro related news it was releaved that the game will support DirextX11.
